How to cope with the feeling of jealousy?

1. to begin with overcoming this jealousy - make sure that you are 120% willing to overcome it. by posting this question in it shows that you are ready to overcome it and you have accepted that you have a problem.


2. now recognise that jealousy is actually a sign of insecurity.


3. ok - now this is sometimes the most difficult - learn to love yourself. remember that life is a positive thing. think about happy things that make you feel happy and proud of your self.


make a 'thank me' list every week. in this list just write down things that you have done successfully that make you feel proud to be you. also write down things that you have and are pretty thankful for. this will change your view on a lot of things. many people who have a problem with jealousy don't notice that they have a lot of things better then the other people. you may be surprised with what you do have.


4. hang around people who make you feel good.


5. write down all the things you are envious about and try and acheive some of the things.


6. get into the habit of catching yourself when you feel jealous and changing your behaviour. to change it follow the suggestions i've listed. but most importantly try to do something about the things you wish you have.How to cope with the feeling of jealousy?
by putting yourself down mentally or have someone else do it
